Health Services Unit

HEALTH SERVICES UNIT (HSU) is the unit responsible for attending to the health needs of the school community. It is manned by the team of Physicians, Dentist, Nurses and trained support staff rendering free medical and dental services like physical and dental examination for all students. However, HSU has preemptive measures during the long term suspension like an emerging concept known as telemedicine which enables long distance patient care and health care services and is defined by using information and communication technologies, covering a distance and involving our HSU staff who deliver care directly to a patient.

Vision

Health Services Unit takes a leadership role in assessing risks and fostering resilience to ensure that students achieve optimal health and well being. It collaborates with other disciplines, programs and agencies to integrate and improve services, develop policies, and provide information about health issues and needs.

Mission

Health Services Unit fosters the growth, development and educational achievement of FEU Diliman's students by promoting their health and well being. It monitors health status and identifies and addresses the unmet needs of students, families and school personnel. It builds public and private partnerships to ensure quality services that are effective, culturally appropriate, and responsive to the diverse, changing needs of students and their communities.
