FEU Diliman Basic Education Department bridges the gap between the old and new normal and paves the way for Generation Z and Generation Alpha—the digital natives—through its CLICK Program.
Launched in August 2021, CLICK is integrated in the basic education curriculum and is considered a computer education subject offered in every grade level.
“Through designed learning process and activities, CLICK will help K-12 students develop and improve their coding skills, creativity, critical thinking, logic, innovative thinking, character, and knowledge-based learning,” explained Armi Yabut, FEU Diliman Executive Director.
Fundamental skills needed to be a part of the 4th industrial revolution are also introduced and strengthened by CLICK. These skills include computer programming, game development, website designing, and life skills such as managing and solving daily challenges.
The CLICK program scaffolds learning from the most basic application, ScratchJr, for kinder and Grade 1 students to the complicated computer language, Python, for senior high school students.
Now, the CLICK program is elevated through a partnership with Knowledge Channel. This partnership will allow the instructors and students to access practical videos available on the School at Home Knowledge Channel.
The revolutionary CLICK program provides students access to progressive and quality education that will catalyse the country and its citizens’ future.
